Advertisement Types and Descriptions

Bookends

• A bookend is used to sponsor specific content within a section or widget. A bookend spans the width of whatever content it is sponsoring even if used in a flexible column. The sponsored portion of the bookend, usually a graphic or html text , must be no more than 30 pix high. File Size: 1K

Ad Based Pop Up

• Dimensions: 280W x 380H Format: 20K (with I-Frame) Pop-ups can pop-up automatically when the page loads or when someone clicks on an ad or text link.

Buffer Page/Full Page ads

• A buffer page is a custom page built to promote your company, product, sale or event. Buffer pages are built using a template that includes the header and footer from the site. The maximum width of the sponsor's content is approx. 700 pixels wide. Buffer pages are designed for static content that does not change regularly.

Micro-Sites

• Micro-sites are customized for sales content that needs to be updated on a regular basis. The micro-sites are built to look similar to the section from which they are launched. These sites are heavily branded to reflect the sponsor.

HTML E-mail Sponsorship

• Dimensions: 160W x 600H

Format: 20K, plain .jpg or .gif HTML graphic email ads are available with daily "News Headlines" e-mails. The ad space is refreshed every :10 seconds in HTML e-mails, therefore ads will rotate in each e-mail sent. Ads are located at the top of the e-mail.

E-mail Text Ads

• Text ads appear in our non-html e-mails. Text ads are to be one to three short sentences in length. These ads appear beneath the "core content" of the e-mail.

Marketplace Navigation Placement

• A link and teaser in the Marketplace Navigation allows users to click to the sponsor's content or message from every page of the Web site.
